I Owe! I Owe! So, Off to Work I Go!
“I deserve this.” Bull poop! But that’s what too many folks say (or at least think) when they’re getting set to buy something they cannot afford … and most likely do not need.
That’s how we rack up a ton of debt … by rationalizing the spending of money stupidly.
The bottom line: Stop spending money. Put away your credit and debit cards, set up a budget and learn to distinguish between necessities (food, housing, and not a whole lot more) and luxuries (pretty much everything else.)
Once you are debt free, then we can talk about luxuries. — JRI
